SPECIALS
EDS offers specialty classes as enrichment. Every week students have Music and Library classes. Over the course of the school year, each class has 5 weeks of gymnastics.
Music
Ms. Suzi is joins us once per week for Music class. In this class, students are introduced to basic musical concepts like beat, key, pitch, and rhythm. Children learn about instruments, play "sound makers," and explore movement. Each class participates in a Holiday and End of Year Concert for their families. ​

Library
​
Mrs. Murphy is our Library teacher. Every month, Mrs. Murphy focuses on one author. During each Library class, children listen to Mrs. Murphy read a book by that author. They discuss the themes of the story, learn sign language tied to that theme, and explore fine motor activties with that theme. Library is also filled with songs, poems, games and crafts.

Gymnastics

Miss Mandi and Miss Molly, owners of Wee Flip Mobile Gym, join us to teach the fundamentals of gymnastics. They provide a variety of equipment and expertise to keep learning safe and fun. Your little one will jump, balance, roll, swing, and pretend their way through themed lessons that nurture physical and emotional development.​
